RJ module
RJ is the abbreviation of Registered Jack, which means "registered socket". The definition in the FCC (Standards and Regulations of the United States Federation of Communications Commission) is that RJ is an interface describing public telecommunication networks. Commonly used are RJ-11 and RJ-45. RJ-45 for computer networks is a standard 8-bit module. The common name of the interface. In the past four types, five types, super five types, and six types of wiring, RJ type interfaces are used. In the seven types of wiring systems, "non-RJ type" interfaces will be allowed. For example, on July 30, 2002, the TERA type seven connector developed by Simon Company was formally selected as the "non-RJ" type seven standard industrial interface Standard mode. The transmission bandwidth of the TERA connector is as high as 1.2GHz, which exceeds the transmission bandwidth of the seven-category standard 600MHz currently under development.
There are four basic RJ modular sockets commonly used in the field of network communication, and each basic socket can be connected to a different structure of RJ. For example, a 6-pin socket can be connected to RJ11 (1 pair), RJ14 (2 pairs) or RJ25C (3 pairs); an 8-pin socket can be connected to RJ61C (4 pairs) and RJ48C. 8-core (Keyed) can be connected to RJS, RJ46S and RJ47S.

The electrical properties of the RJ connector include contact resistance, insulation resistance and dielectric strength.
① Electrical connectors with high-quality contact resistance should have low and stable contact resistance. The contact resistance of the connector ranges from a few milliohms to tens of milliohms.
②Insulation resistance is a measure of the insulation performance between the contacts of electrical connectors and between the contacts and the shell, and its magnitude ranges from hundreds of megohms to thousands of megohms.
③ Dielectric strength, or withstand voltage, dielectric withstand voltage, is the ability to withstand the rated test voltage between the connector contacts or between the contacts and the shell.
